Why do we love this whisky?
Benriach, with over 120 years experience crafting fine Speyside whisky, have absolutely nailed it with this 25 year old single malt. Years in contact with four different casks types (sherry, bourbon, virgin oak and Madeira casks) have imparted a rich, deep colour and plethora of flavours to this silken beastie. Caramelised baked fruits with with chocolate and hazelnuts all play perfectly together, and are supported by baking spices and gentle peated smoke. WOW
