Why do we love this whisky?
Nestled between the rugged hills of Turso, Caithness, Wolfburn distillery is a monument to tradition and innovation. Originally founded in 1821 and resurrected in 2013, they’ve quickly reestablished themselves as a producer of exceptional single malt Scotch, receiving considerable praise from many of the whisky world’s biggest names, as well as several accolades including double gold in 2017 and then again in 2018… With a longer fermentation time, often exceeding 100 hours, along with a maturation period in first-fill bourbon casks, this Scotch intertwines power and refinement perfectly.
