Why do we love this whisky?
Part of the annual Special Release range put out by Diageo for their bigger brands (including Lagavulin, The Singleton, Oban and Caol Ila among others), this 11 year-old single malt from the Isle of Skye's biggest name in whisky is pure magnificence. An excellently well-balanced drop, this year's release has utilised their less peaty malts to create something with much more broad appeal, while never missing on intrigue and complexity.
