2x Twin Valleys Reserve Chardonnay 2023
White — Chardonnay
King Valley — Australia
Hail to the King! The king of white wine grapes, that is. True to it's Alpine home, this greets you with a swirl of citrus and stone fruit. There's a creamy element, too - something like peach cobbler or apricot yoghurt. Deftly striking a balance between richness and freshness, between full-fruited palate weight and fresh, energetic acidity. A delightful wine to say the least - this is versatile and friendly High Country chardy at it's best. Drink or hold.
You’d pay $35 full price.

2x Cloudbreak Nouveau Chardonnay 2023
White — Chardonnay
Adelaide Hills — Australia
A refreshing, zippy and elegant chardy with a creamy, malolactic aspect and pristine fruit. After a long day out and about in the sun, we can't think of anything better than pulling this belter out of the esky and sharing a bottle or two with the campsite. That's just us though, this wine also works if you're not camping.
A reviewer, who can't be named (Black Market - you know the drill), described this wine as, "impressive and enjoyable", and that's pretty much the whole point of this wine. Yep, it's made well; vibrant, juicy acid, pristine lemon and white peach and a slight creaminess from partial malolactic fermentation. But this cheeky little number is also a whole bunch of fun; zippy, zesty, refreshing and bright. This really is a great addition to the cellar, for when you feel like a chardonnay but it's a bit hot out for melted butter in a glass. This'll keep for another four or five years but as the winemakers say, "Made to be enjoyed!".
You’d pay $25 full price.

2x Rob Dolan Wines Chardonnay 2023
White — Chardonnay
Victoria — Australia
Whether we’ll admit it or not, we all play favourites, and this chardonnay comes from one of our favourite wineries in the biz, Rob Dolan. It’s bursting with personality (much like the Rob himself). There’s a nice line of lemony citrus, hints of cashew and a sneaky oak backbone holding it all together. Pour us another glass and let's get settled in.
You’d pay $35 full price.

2x Sophie Schaal Chardonnay 2024
White — Chardonnay
South Africa — South Africa
Roll out the red carpet! That’s right, it’s the mofo favourite chardonnay from Sophie Schaal. You’d be right to expect a very smart chardonnay here, with Sophie having studied her craft at one of the most prestigious winemaking schools in Burgundy. The wine is full and smooth, bursting with melon and citrus, dancing alongside mineral notes and soft acidity. This is a cracking chardonnay at an amazing price and we are as excited about the wine as we are to work with Sophie’s range into the future.
You’d pay $29 full price.

2x Altus Rise Wildlight Chardonnay 2023
White — Chardonnay
Margaret River — Australia
This is a celebration of freshness. Tart fruits into tropical ripeness. A vein of focused minerality runs throughout. Citrusy, fresh, and punchy through the mid-palate. There’s a mouthwatering line of white peach and nectarine coursing through, and a little oak influence rounds it out by providing some tannin and spice. This is an “anytime” wine if ever we saw one. Easy going, delicious drinking for any occasion.
You’d pay $30 full price.

2x Pyren Vineyards Tanwood Chardonnay 2023
White — Chardonnay
Pyrenees — Australia
Delightful and approachable. Green apple, citrus, pear, a touch of soft vanilla. On the palate, it's crisp and clean but ripe and weighty, papaya and grapefruit offer ripe tropical flavours and aromatics. The acid is lively and vibrant through the finish. This is a perfect wine to have on hand all summer long, fresh, exciting, energetic, and fruit driven - it'll go with anything and it'll please anyone.
You’d pay $25 full price.
