Why do we love this case?

We’ve decided to stick with the classic ‘Dangerous Value Whites’ as it describes it oh so well - the real danger with this delicious mixed dozen is that you’ll be sorry you didn’t buy more. There’s a cheeky bottle every occasion. Don’t let me keep you a second longer, mofo!

Included in this case:

2x Woodside Park Pinot Grigio 2025

White — Pinot Grigio

Adelaide Hills — Barossa

Cool climate, altitude, and a winemaker who clearly knows their way around a good grigio. You get all that juicy pear and crisp green apple up front, a tiny hint of honey rounding it out, and a finish so clean it practically resets your palate. It’s the kind of wine that just fits - seafood lunch, lazy Sunday arvo, or that “just one glass” weeknight (you know how that ends). We tasted plenty, and this one nailed it: pure, refreshing, no fuss, just bloody delicious.

You’d pay $30 full price.

2x Mitchell Alcatraz Riesling 2022

White — Riesling

Clare Valley — Barossa

Clare Valley riesling from a single vineyard planted nearly sixty years ago and always dry farmed. The vines have never seen chemicals and are hand pruned and harvested. That, right there, is a winning combination. As you’d expect from quality Clare rizza, there’s generosity on the palate, driving acidity and of course ageability. It’s got minerality, citrus notes and floral aromas. Not a hair out of place.

You’d pay $28 full price.

2x Thompson Estate Four Chambers Sauvignon Blanc 2024

White — Sauvignon Blanc

Margaret River — Barossa

This stunningly refreshing sauv blanc is a drinker, not a thinker. Built for sunshine, good company, and zero pretension. And you know what, at this price, why the hell not?! Get in the esky, get it to a park, beach or local footy game and you are absolutely on! Pale green colour with brilliant clarity looks gorgeous poured into glasses (or paper cups) at outdoor gatherings. The aromatics burst with vibrant floral-fruity characters - lychee meets that gooseberry freshness, backed by grassiness, nectarine and lemon curd. A touch of spice adds extra dimension without turning the wine into a homework assignment. The palate delivers concentrated gooseberry and lychee alongside mandarin rind and subtle apricot, all sitting pretty thanks to a beautiful hit of seamless natural acid keeping everything bright and lively. Elegant structure with all those savvy b flavours that linger beautifully, providing length and purity without demanding contemplation. Drink it. Just drink it. It's so yummy - you're gonna love it.

You’d pay $27 full price.

White — Chardonnay

Langhorne Creek — Barossa

The Twin Oaks Chardonnay 2024 from Smidge Wines hails from Langhorne Creek — a region celebrated for producing elegant yet expressive whites. The vintage’s cool-night harvest preserved bright fruit characters, giving the wine a pale straw colour and a bouquet alive with lemon zest, white peach and delicate floral notes. A vibrant, focused acidity carries these flavours through a long, refreshing finish — delivering both clarity and depth. Light, unoaked and approachable, this wine is ideal for casual lunches, seafood and chill-out evenings yet has enough flair to stand beside more refined dishes. Drink now through 2030 to enjoy its freshness at its best.

2x Russell & Suitor Alejandro Fiano 2025

White — Fiano

Murray Darling — Barossa

The 2025 vintage threw up some curveballs - lower yields thanks to a cool spring, but the payoff was a near-perfect ripening window. Long, mild days and cool nights gave the fruit time to develop serious flavour without losing that all-important acid. So what about the wine? Well, here we have a very well-made white wine with power and precision. Aromas of crisp green apple, juicy melon and roasted cashew leap from the glass. On the palate, it’s full-bodied and dry, with clean lines and a freshness that lingers. There’s a generosity to the fruit here, but it’s reined in with lovely texture and balance. Vintage conditions might have cut the volume, but they definitely dialled up the quality.

You’d pay $25 full price.

2x Stanrock Estate Pinot Gris 2024

White — Pinot Gris

Gisborne — New Zealand

Delightfully fruited without being over the top, this is Pinot Gris that's refreshing and immediately appealing - the kind of wine that disappears from the bottle faster than you planned because it's just so damn easy to drink. Enticing aromas of summer stone fruit, mandarin and nashi pear jump out of the glass, backed up by hints of ginger and spices that add a lovely aromatic lift. There's rockmelon and nectarine in there too, with a touch of spice keeping things interesting. Medium-bodied with bright acidity that keeps everything lively and refreshing, balanced by a subtle ripeness that rounds it all out beautifully. The mouthfeel is succulent and elegantly expressed, with fine texture and that mineral finish that makes you reach for another sip before you've even swallowed the first.

You’d pay $25 full price.
