2x Reschke R-Series Riesling 2023
White — Riesling
Limestone Coast — Australia
Young, bright, and fresh as a daisy. This rizza is full of blossoms and citrus, a nervy line of acid and beautiful texture. Reschke are known for their long-lived red wines, and that applies just as much to their pristinely crafted whites. I mean, you don't get a 96pt score for nothing. Whether you drink this beauty now or hold it for a couple of years, it's a pleaser for sure.
You’d pay $20 full price.

The George Family follow a set of simple yet impassioned mantras; Grow nothing but premium fruit. Make nothing but quality wine. A pioneering Clare Valley estate with vines first planted in 1896, the George Family vineyard just five kilometres east of Auburn lives and breathes the region’s winemaking traditions. Bright and distinctive, this Clare riesling shows off a vibrancy of new world fruit, impeccably balanced with old world finesse. Citrusy acidity, peppy florals, and a crunchy palate all make for a ripping good time.

2x Ben Murray Wines Riesling 2023
White — Riesling
Eden Valley — Australia
A rollicking riesling from our new favourite Eden Valley producer. Pure, concentrated lime juice, tightly-wound acidity and that mineral hint that made the place famous. We adore these types rieslings. It's so flavourful and yet so light and zippy - it almost confuses your taste buds. We choose not to be confused, not to over-think, we choose to sit, sip and appreciate what is a fantastic expression of Eden Valley riz.
You’d pay $26 full price.

Tasting Notes
2x Pauletts Clare Valley Riesling 2023
White — Riesling
Clare Valley — Australia
Clare Valley riesling proves, again, that it's one of the best 'bang for your buck' wines in the world, yep, __seriously__. Packed full of distinctive regional qualities: lemon-lime cordial, orange blossom, zippy acidity and that slatey mineral note we all know and love - this is an absolute winner.
Right in the sweet spot. On the spectrum of Clare riz, this sits bang in the middle, 'the goldilocks zone', so to speak. The acid is prevalent, but not too austere. The fruit is developed, but not overly rich. The mineral aspects are refreshing, but not spritzy. It's the kind of wine you can show to anyone, but far from boring. A fresh, dry and completely delicious bottle of rizza that'll have you reaching for another glass quicker than you think. A little dangerous in that regard. Drink now or have a look in 5 years.
You’d pay $28 full price.

2x Russell & Suitor Franca's Vineyard Riesling 2024
White — Riesling
Australia — Australia
Riesling's all about balance, balancing acid, balancing fruit, balancing textures. This is a really well-balanced wine, in every regard. The nose shows classic riesling notes of lemon sherbet and fresh lime juice. The palate is super juicy and the fruit is fleshy to the point that it almost feels like you're biting into a crisp green apple. Seafood, risottos, stir-frys, this'll go with the lot, the vibrance of the acid cuts through, but doesn't overpower, a huge array of cuisine.
You’d pay $22 full price.

2x Alkoomi Wines Flying WIld Riesling 2024
White — Riesling
Australia — Australia
Riesling is what put Frankland River, and the greater Great Southern region, right at the forefront of Australian wine production. The soils around the area are rocky and packed full of mineralic goodness, this is imparted in the wine, bringing a vibrance and careful salinity to an otherwise racy and deeply zesty palate. The natural acid pairs with the minerality and citrusy fruit characteristics perfectly to create and energetic and racy wine with pure fruit and a long, tingly finish. Seriously good stuff.
You’d pay $28 full price.
