2x Punch Lance's Vineyard 'Pet Blanc' Sparkling 2021
Sparkling — Sparkling White
Yarra Valley — Australia
Don't be put off by the use of the term 'minimal intervention', this is classically-styled sparkling wine. Zesty, citrusy and textural, there's a fantastic underlying fruit weight that amplifies all the other elements and brings a big ol' smile to every sparkling lover's face. They don't throw out 95 Halliday points for nothing... This wine is created with the 'hands off' ethos in mind (more popularly called 'minimal intervention'). That doesn't mean that there's no care taken in the production of this wine, in fact it's just the opposite. In this case, it really just means that the highly-sought-after fruit has been given the appropriate time to develop and find its full voice. Other than that, this is a very standard, albeit completely delicious, sparkling wine with poise, balance and a genuine kick that'll get you up and dancing!
You’d pay $45 full price.

2x Taltarni Vineyards Marque Sparkling White NV
Sparkling — Sparkling White
Pyrenees — Australia
This lot criminally undervalue for their own wines, it's that simple. This lively drop is refreshing and people-pleasing but not without nuance. To be honest it's a bit of a party animal and fit for any celebration or occasion. A true Chameleon, fit for drinking in a t-shirt or a tuxedo - enjoy!
Talk about bang for your buck... there's a whole lot of quality for the price and a whole lot of fun to be had. Vivacious and vibrant, this is the kind of wine that wouldn't normally be taken overly seriously but Taltarni Vineyards simply can't help themselves. It's a compulsion of theirs to overdeliver and bring a sparkling wine that fits in perfectly at a party but brings a level of attention to detail that completely invalidates the price point. Just as you'd expect there's zippy acid, wonderful citrus and a slight brioche-adjacent richness that carries through to the finish. This is the perfect bubbly for an event or party and frankly we'd feel a little understocked if we didn't have a couple of these waiting in the rack at home - y'know, for emergencies.
You’d pay $26 full price.

2x Russell & Suitor Alejandro Prosecco 2024
Sparkling — Prosecco
South Australia — Australia
Everyone needs a box of this in the cellar. Dinners, parties, sunny afternoons or pre-event drinks - this prosecco's got you covered. Clean, crisp, dry and refreshing, when we think about good times with good company, we think of this wine. The deft subtlety of this bubbly is extremely well-done and certainly lifts it firmly into the 'set and forget' category. The type of wine that you chuck in the rack and can come back to time and time and time again, safe in the knowledge that, whatever you've got planned, the bubbles are sorted. A staple of the wine rack for anyone who likes entertaining - or anyone that just likes drinking delicious prosecco!
You’d pay $28 full price.

2x Windowrie Estate The Mill Prosecco 2024
Sparkling — Prosecco
Australia — Australia
This one does exactly what it's meant to, it puts a smile on your face. Balanced and bubbly, there's a streak of lemon sherbet running through the palate - it's about as much fun as you can squeeze into one bottle.Zesty citrus, crunchy green apple and lemon/lime sherbet are the real heroes here but this is a wine that's so much more than the sum of its parts. It's the balance of the elements, the dry finish, the fruit forward nose, the racy acidity, it all just works. Perfect as an aperitif, welcome drink or simply as a weeknight wonder, there's versatility in this wines engaging nature. We want a glass of this on hand at all times, just in case a party breaks out.
You’d pay $20 full price.

2x Bone Dry Prosecco NV
Sparkling — Prosecco
South Australia — Australia
Effervescent, zippy, and zesty, with crunchy acid and a perfectly-ripe, green apple fruit profile - this bubbly wants for nothing. With, effectively, zero sugar, you get to have all the party, without the headache the next day (theoretically). Although the low sugar aspect of this wine is certainly a selling-point, we would be remiss if we didn't mention what we think is the most important thing about this badboy - it's completely delicious. Citrus, vibrant acid and a hint of natural fruit sweetness, this is a really well thought out wine. An absolute steal.
You’d pay $25 full price.

Tasting Notes
2x Twin Valleys Prosecco 2024
Sparkling — Prosecco
King Valley — Australia
Lush green apple, white flowers and hints of lemongrass burst out of this award-winning King Valley drop from the second you pop the cork. Add in a finely textured palate and some crisp acidity and you've got one delightfully drinkable drop on your hands. There's a reason the King Valley takes Australia's prosecco cake and with 94pts from Wine Pilot and 93pts from Wine Orbit, this 2024 will tell you why.
Lightly tropical, more vibrant than a basket full of fruit and crisply acidic for a clean finish - this is a bottle of bubbles worth celebrating. To bring this award-winning prosecco to life the Twin Valleys crew sourced fruit from both the King and Alpine Valleys and the result is a well-balanced drop that dances with melon, lemon and even a hint of jasmine. Sam Kim from Wine Orbit awarded it 93pts and hailed it as splendidly fruited and immediately approachable. And we couldn't agree more. At its best from now until 2026 and perfect for celebrate a new year, a new job or just a new weekend!
You’d pay $28 full price.
