2x Coombe Yarra Valley Estate Sparkling NV
Sparkling — Sparkling White
Yarra Valley — Australia
A classic blend of 80% chardonnay and 20% pinot noir, plucked straight off the premium estate vineyards and fermented separately in cool conditions to allow for delicate flavours to slowly develop. The juice also sees a little bit of French oak to add some weight and complexity to the blend. We end up with a full but balanced sparkling with a creamy finish and pleasantly fine-beaded sparkle. This wine does what you'd expect a Yarra Valley NV sparkling to do, but does it better.
You’d pay $40 full price.

2x Twin Valleys Blanc de Blancs NV
Sparkling — Sparkling White
King Valley — Australia
Blanc de Blanc is just a fancy way of saying your sparkling wine is made purely from white grapes. And there's no better white grape for bubbles than chardonnay. Twin Valleys sourced chardonnay from a single vineyard in Moyhu, a gorgeous little spot in the King Valley that always delivers the goods. This is elegant and engaging, offering up green apple, jasmine and waves of citrus. But don't look past the mouthfeel, starting with a very fine bead and rolling into a creamy palate and lingering vibrancy from the citrusy acid.
You’d pay $35 full price.

2x Russell & Suitor Alejandro Prosecco 2024
Sparkling — Prosecco
South Australia — Australia
Everyone needs a box of this in the cellar. Dinners, parties, sunny afternoons or pre-event drinks - this prosecco's got you covered. Clean, crisp, dry and refreshing, when we think about good times with good company, we think of this wine. The deft subtlety of this bubbly is extremely well-done and certainly lifts it firmly into the 'set and forget' category. The type of wine that you chuck in the rack and can come back to time and time and time again, safe in the knowledge that, whatever you've got planned, the bubbles are sorted. A staple of the wine rack for anyone who likes entertaining - or anyone that just likes drinking delicious prosecco!
You’d pay $28 full price.

2x Antonio's Vn' Autentico Prosecco 2024
Sparkling — Prosecco
Central Ranges — Australia
There's a succinct beauty to this wine's deliberate simplicity. Just the good stuff, no fluff. Lively, flavoursome, bright and fresh - it's everything you want in an easy-drink prosecco, and nothing you don't. A case of this can only make your cellar stronger. Bright, light and with a fine beaded spritz, this is as fresh as they come. The nose is a proverbial citrus garden with lemon sorbet, white peach, guava and a hint of freshly cut herbs. There’s a creamy mousse on the palate that dances with sherbet fizz, tropical fruit and honeydew. It’s dry (brut-style) but beautifully balanced, with just enough sweetness to soften the zip of crisp acidity. Made with minimal intervention to let the fruit do the talking and let's just say and it’s definitely talking. Whether you're clinking glasses over a couple of canapés or kicking back on a sunny afternoon, Antonio's nailed it.
You’d pay $28 full price.

2x Risky Business Prosecco NV
Sparkling — Prosecco
King Valley — Australia
This bubbly is punching well above its weight. To see a prosecco in the Halliday Top 100 Wines is pretty much unheard of, factoring in 95pts, a 4.1 Vivino score and a price-point like this, we're very much in new territory. A game-changer.
Victoria's King Valley is undeniably Australia's home of prosecco. Boasting many waves of Italian immigration and a climate almost identical to that of the Prosecco region of Veneto, it's really no surprise that the King is creating wines that can go toe-to-toe with the Italian stuff. This delightful drop is no exception, functionally dry, with subtle notes of pear, stone fruit and citrus blossom. A wonderfully balanced acidity couples with a zesty, light, crisp mouthfeel to create a wine that is both textural and light. An absolute winner. For this price, you can't go wrong.
You’d pay $25 full price.

2x Windowrie Estate The Mill Prosecco 2025
Sparkling — Prosecco
Australia — Australia
This one does exactly what it's meant to, it puts a smile on your face. Balanced and bubbly, there's a streak of lemon sherbet running through the palate - it's about as much fun as you can squeeze into one bottle. Zesty citrus, crunchy green apple and lemon/lime sherbet are the real heroes here but this is a wine that's so much more than the sum of its parts. It's the balance of the elements, the dry finish, the fruit forward nose, the racy acidity, it all just works. Perfect as an aperitif, welcome drink or simply as a weeknight wonder, there's versatility in this wines engaging nature. We want a glass of this on hand at all times, just in case a party breaks out.
You’d pay $20 full price.
