This producer's estate cabernet is an ode to Coonawarra and the variety this region so justifiably champions. Sourced only from respected, passionate growers whose premium fruit truly reflects the region's best. Ripe blackberry, cigar box, tomato leaf and subtle mint with spice and, of course, those minty herbs. Sturdy, medium-to-full body with plums, mocha, velvety dusty tannins. Perfectly balanced French oak integrated with fruit ensuring refined, poised finish.

Why do we love this wine?

Sourced exclusively from respected, passionate local families across Coonawarra and Wrattonbully whose premium grapes genuinely reflect what the (greater) region offers at its best. Three dedicated family vineyards contributed fruit, each block carefully assessed for optimal ripeness, flavour development and tannin maturity before getting the green light. Ripe blackberry meets cigar box, tomato leaf and subtle mint combining with spice notes and old English garden herb complexity. Sturdy medium-to-full bodied frame carries plums and mocha alongside velvety, dusty tannins coating your mouth beautifully. Perfectly balanced fine-grain French oak integrates seamlessly with fruit ensuring a refined, poised finish rather than woody domination. With careful cellaring, this gracefully ages 5-15 years developing even more complexity. Smash it now with smoked whole lamb loin, concentrated jus and slow-roasted root vegetable salad, or tuck bottles away to watch the Coonawarra cab magic unfold slowly.
