Why do we love this wine?
The beautifully aromatic notes of violets, dried flowers and cassis on the nose somewhat belie the concentration and power of this wine. To be very clear, this is classic Margaret River wine and is completely iconic within the region, and the world at large. We say this purely to contextualise this wine in the scheme of things. You can comfortably dig a hole in your back yard, chuck a case of this in and forget about it. Many years from now, hen you (or an extremely lucky future tenant) finally choose to dig it up, this will still be absolutely singing. A wonderfully crafted and graceful flagship Margaret River cabernet.
