Why do we love this wine?
This isn't a wine that gives up its whole story in one sip. It takes a bit of working out, and that's part of the appeal. What's immediately obvious is the structure - bold, dark-fruited, genuinely well put together. Blackberry, a touch of char and clove sit neatly against dried herb and a dusty edge, all held in place by tannins doing exactly what they should. This one was built for the long game - and we've already waited long enough! Sure, it'll go longer, but we think this is drinking like a dream right at this very moment - get stuck in!
