'McLaren Vale shiraz', pretty much all you need to say to get us salivating, add in 'single-vineyard museum release', and we're chomping at the metaphorical bit. From one of the industry's most well-known and instantly recognisable producers, this beautiful drop is equally at home now with a hearty meal, or in the cellar for the next 10 years. Ripe dark fruits, vanilla and cocoa, a touch of mint and silky-but-robust tannins holding the whole thing together. This is Vale shiraz at its peak.
